Should this be merged ...

[edit]

Should this be merged into the delapidated Chaser main page.

The ultimate goal/theme of most Chaser products appear to be the same; and CNNNN wasn't even the fisrt TV production they produced. -ZayZayEM at a previous date

Yep i dont see why not. It appears the CNNNNN project has finished but the chaser spirt is moving on to bigger and better projects. just leave a forwarding thingy. Although it seem people in the USA are just catching onto 2 CNNNNNNN--Whywhywhy 06:31, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be tempted to keep CNNNN article separate to the Chaser article. While everything the Chaser team does centres on social commentary / political satire, not everything they do is in the format of a fake 24 hour cable news channel. There is almost certainly enough material to do an article in its own right - AmishThrasher 13:51, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have 2 questions 1. It says under Post-CNNNN "The team created the television special The Election Chaser for the 2001 federal election", how did thay do that when up top it says its Original run was on Thursday, September 19, 2002?

2.Also under Post-CNNNN it says "Following on from that, they broadcast two seasons of CNNNN, in 2002 and 2003, at nine and ten episodes, respectively" but up top it says "No. of episodes 9" nine and ten are more than nine, is there a mistake here?

"(the fourth 'N' doesn't mean anything)"

[edit]

Is your (or any-ones) source on this reliable? I've always assuemed the fourth 'N' stood for "Network".—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.26.206.130 (talkcontribs)

C - Chaser N - Nonstop N - News N - Network N - ??????

Network is the third N. Nobody really thinks of it, do they.--ZayZayEM 08:49, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The last "n" is an inside joke apparrently and will probably never see the light of day—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.87.45.25 (talkcontribs)

~At the end of what I believe was the last episode of one of the seasons, someone started explaining what the fourth 'N' was for but the explanation was inaudible due to the announcer telling us that we were returning to regular ABC television.203.164.168.210 12:19, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thought it was an abreviation of Chaser NoNstop News Network (two 'Ns' in NoNstop) - AmishThrasher 13:46, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're reading too much into it, it's just a joke.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Wwwhhh (talkcontribs)

The second N in NoN is almost always capitalised.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.6.138.33 (talkcontribs)
Yeah, like on the official site? (http://cnnnn.com , which has the title 'CNNNN: Chaser Non-Stop News Network') --Rilstix 06:36, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, in the TV Guide when it was on, it was listed as NoNstop—Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.108.36.233 (talkcontribs)

The TV Guides are obviously clutching at straws. The second "N" isn't in 'Non', thats just retarded. Its just a joke, as someone above said they've attempted to explain it (ironically being inaduible at the time). The 4th N means nothing. --Rilstix 06:36, 22 August 2006 (UTC) (again)[reply]
On the website its in SMALLCAPS - everything is capitalised - if your refering to the page name in the browser, that's also a pretty rare straw, cos programmers are oh so authorative - try looking at the actual TV show?--ZayZayEM 12:51, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note on running gag - this could have been a laugh at the viewers not observant enough to notice the mixed capitalization of "NoN". (notice how I started this discussion on wondering what the fourth N was... weird huh) --ZayZayEM 04:55, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The 4th N stands for "Network"--Greasysteve13 05:46, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Episode guide?

[edit]

Should we get an episode guide up? I have all the CNNNN episodes on tape and I would be more than happy to write up an episode guide on all 19 episodes. Dsemaj 04:51, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tagged out of date

[edit]

I tagged this article out of date because, well, it seems a little out of date. For example, in the Post-CNNNN part of the article it mentions War on Everything as their new show ... Iokerapid (talk) 20:20, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode listing

[edit]

As there is a complete listing if the episodes, with the exact same material repeated twice, should the mini-list in the overview not be removed? Chaosdruid (talk) 17:01, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
