Just for housekeeping purposes: there is a Wisconsin State University Conference, but there appears to be no Wisconsin State University. On the other hand, there is a University of Wisconsin or University of Wisconsin System (see <http://www.wisconsin.edu/>). Robert Happelberg 19:23, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

There are several institutions which were known from 1964-1971 as "Wisconsin State University-NAME" (i.e., Wisconsin State University-Whitewater, known as WSU-W). For more detail, see Wisconsin State Universities. --Orange Mike 19:59, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
