This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of ZuluPad, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.gersic.com/projects.php?id=19. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 16:35, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • The page sourced here contains this line of text at the bottom: "Note: All text on this page is hereby placed in the public domain. Copy it at will.", so it is not a copyright violation --Omeomi (talk) 14:43, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ZuluPad

[edit]

The article for ZuluPad was deleted through a community consensus process at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ZuluPad. Recreating material which was previously deleted as the result of a consensus to do so violates Wikipedia policy. I'm not "attacking" ZuluPad, I'm making sure that the decision of the community to delete the article gets carried out. What's more, Digg hits cannot be used to independently verify factual accuracy. Only reliable, published sources assert notability, and they do not exist (or were not provided) for ZuluPad. Continued recreation of the deleted article may result in a block from editing, please do not do so again. VanTucky Vote in my weird poll! 16:37, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it from Personal wiki because the article does not exist. The same concept of notability extends to adding it there. Also, the last time you recreated the page, it was a copy and paste from another website, at least in part. Do not do this ever again. It is copyright violation, and adding material from websites that are not licensed under the GFDL is unacceptable. VanTucky Vote in my weird poll! 16:44, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Again, don't add entries in a list of personal wikis with articles for applications that don't have an article. If it's worth mentioning, then it should have an article. VanTucky Vote in my weird poll! 16:53, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cool it. I need no rant or lecture from you, and no harm has been done to anyone. It's just a website, calm down. VanTucky 18:18, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
notability guidelines do not directly limit the content of articles. 98.203.237.75 (talk) 05:45, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good point. Thank you. --Omeomi (talk) 01:03, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:25, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have closed this case. You have nothing to worry about. Shalom (HelloPeace) 04:44, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

File:Chicago Art Institute Modern Wing.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Chicago Art Institute Modern Wing.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Chicago Art Institute Modern Wing.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 03:40, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Chicago Picasso Maquette.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
