Rewrite

[edit]

This article is pretty bad -- I'm gonna rewrite it. --Michaelkpabst 22:55, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do. This is a mess of NPOV, no sources, and just irrelevant junk. The real content should be moved to a separate page and this should just be a disambiguation page. --24.184.72.20 02:46, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Superfluous apostrophe

[edit]

The man does not belong to the ladies, so the apostrophe is not needed. A beer man, a wine man, a tits man, a ladies man.213.254.90.177 21:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Grammatically, the phrase refers to a man of the ladies, thus requires the posessive (genitive, not possessive) apostrophe. See Encarta, Oxford English Dictionary, Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, and American Heritage Dictionary. All use the possessive apostrophe. Sanguinity 22:20, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
…nonetheless, Ladies man redirects here.
