Any comments about putting the highways into separate articles titled Interstate 405 (California) and Interstate 405 (Oregon)?? Both sections are large enough that they can go into articles of their own that aren't stubs. Any objections?? 66.245.16.193 15:47, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I think the Oregon portion is really short (like the freeway itself). It seems like most of the 3 digit interstate pages are organized this way.--Clipdude 04:02, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Spur?

[edit]

I think it would be accurate to call 405 a "loop" rather than a "spur". Spurs branch out and do not reconnect with the parent interstate, unless I'm mistaken.--Clipdude 04:05, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Default to CA?

[edit]

Hi,

Living in the Los Angeles area, I'm probably biased, but -- while 405 in portland and seattle are also major freeways in the area (i grew up in seattle, so i know the importance 405 has to that area) -- the california one is probably the most notable of the three, and is referenced far more frequently in pop culture. Would it make sense therefore to have this article default to 405 in california and include a dab notification at the top in italics, much like how Windows goes to microsoft windows?

Location

[edit]

Almost going to be perfect for all of Interstate 405 (Interstate 405 (CA); Interstate 405 (OR); Interstate 405 (WA)) to be located west of Interstate 5, but not Interstate 405 (WA) (being located east of Interstate 5). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.100.126.228 (talk) 12:31, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
