Think Gold Dust Records should be kept separate for now, on a wait and see basis, as GLC could splinter into side projects with other people? DJ HEAVEN 11:35, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think they should be kept seperate for now too. The tag has been on for a while now and nothing has been done so I have removed it for now Hamish (Talk) 18:47, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Explicit?

[edit]

The second sentence says that they produce "explicit songs". What is meant by explicit? Does it mean less vague than that sentence? Tim Ivorson 2006-07-09

Mini-Biogs

[edit]

As it stands, the links attached to the band members redirect to this article, but then there are the mini-biogs at the bottom. surely there should be separate articles for the band members using the information in the biogs? Chipstick 19:32, 15 Sept 2006 (UTC)

History

[edit]

The history section starts with the band being signed to East/West Records - which is written in the present tense - but I remember them having a cult following before then; there's nothing about their formation or early years. This makes the "Return to Independence" section confusing, because there's nothing about the group being independent in the first place. Given that the last talk page entry was a year ago, I suspect that this article's bit-rotten state is a fair reflection of the group's current status. -Ashley Pomeroy 17:00, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I support the merge as there is no other notability of Maggot other than his part in CBB, the band itself and the odd TV appearances. Willirennen 22:18, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

like to be an octopus

[edit]

"... the animal Mike would most like to be is an octopus" The only source for this claim I have found: [1]. There is no hint of it on the S4C web-site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Froggo Zijgeb (talkcontribs) 20:31, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

I've reverted some obvious vandalism but, to tell you the truth, with this band I don't know what's vandalism and what's not... Maybe someone else who knows the band's work could just check that no subtle(!) vandalism has got through. Thanks, She'sGotSpies (talk) 23:19, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd expect the band to vandalise this page themselves, to be honest. 137.222.183.235 (talk) 12:00, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Band member mini-biographies

[edit]

This section is non-encyclopaedic, has barely any references, and includes opinionated and, at times childish, text. Verifiable references please, or some editors may delete the whole section.

Regarding Rhys Hutchings name

[edit]

The name of Rhys Hutchings is Rhys Hutchings, as supported by the provided sources.

“Rhys from GLC” is not Rhys Hutching’s legal name. It seems there is even no hard evidence it is a pseudonym. In all contexts it appears at most as either a descriptive reference (a guy named Rhys, being a member of GLC) or a handle in an internet service.

If creating edits that remove credible evidence and supplying information that opposes those sources, please provide sources that are at least as strong and, perhaps, explain why the other source was providing false information. wikimpan (Talk) 03:40, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
