I think that the term "screened" is a common UK term for "sheilding". I've an installer that is finding few sources for Cat 6 screened cables - and doing a google search turns up UK sellers selling what appears to be sheilded cable. Does anyone have more information about this?

Merge with Twisted pair?

[edit]

In my opinion it's unlikely this stub will ever grow into a full article I suggest merging it with the Twisted pair article. Even if so it still should be merged for now.--Deelkar (talk) 03:08, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I agree with Deelkar, and have merged this article into the Twisted Pair article. N. Harmon 01:15, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it OK to redirect to Twisted pair#Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) instead? Jayvdb 09:28, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
