This article looks like it has some missing data. It looks to me like perhaps this one was written about Andross' Star Fox 64 and Dinosaur Planet personas - being as I've never played the original Star Fox for Super NES, I can't say either way. Some more knowledgeable Star Fox fan would be a good thing for this article... --Sparky the Seventh Chaos 08:18, Jul 7, 2004 (UTC)

I, being a very knowledgeable Star Fox fan, think this article provides the necessary information and more to be able to understand the fictional Character of Andross

Well, i'd just like to say someone needs to add a picture of the retro Andross as this version of him is by far way better that his latest incarnation. People need to see how he started off!

He was just a face… --FlareNUKE 09:02, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Andross in StarFox 2

[edit]

In Star Fox 2. Andross appears as a main villain and a final boss. As both, he has a metal thingy on his head, making him a cyborg. And as the final boss, he is just a cube that doesn't do anything and has Andross's head on all sides. This is probably a beta version stand-in for the final boss.

The cube with his head on all sides also appeard as his second form (on the easier paths) in the original Star Fox. Xubelox 21:45, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In all forms in Star Fox, actually - the cube was the "core" for all of the robotic faces. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 21:42, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fan fiction?

[edit]

A lot of the stuff in this article sounds like fan fiction. I have not heard of many of the things described in official material. If it's from an official guide (I said OFFICIAL!) other than the actual games or instruction manuals, please cite it. I cleaned up the Star Fox 64 section a bit too.

Andross's background

[edit]

This quote: "After Andross fought with the "Star Fox Team" (apparently in the original Star Fox), he dedicated his remaining days to planet Venom, wanted to leave some sort of legacy. Thus Andross hid his secret device on Titania where no one would ever think to look, leaving behind one of his bioweapons to guard over the device."

The first sentence I don't think is accurate. The original StarFox isn't canon insofar as StarFox 64 replaced its place in the story. I think what Krystal was referring to was James, Peppy, and Pigma. After Andross fought with them, he dedicated his remaining days to Venom (etc..) --Gamehiker 19:14, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
