This could use further elucidation. Could an expert please describe the terms "localized maximum" and "nulls" in some detail? One can certainly guess the meaning, but a quick paragraph about what these mean in practice would be helpful. --Rethunk

Shouldn't it be mentioned that often a lobule is a subdivision of a biger lobe (as opposed to the intependent small lobe) --Yarikoptic 19:44, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
