WikiTree

[edit]

Hi Krubo, From what I understand, you are a developer at WikiTree. Currently at that site we are considering merging with another genealogy project (check the Treehouse for details) and to do so we may need a database dump of WikiTree. As Tjfulopp has gone missing, you are the only one left to do that. Please reply. (I left a message here because Special:Emailuser/Krubo did not work.) Wikiacc (?) 20:57, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have to keep my mind off of the things you know I will never find it again and then I’ll call you when I’m not doing anything 2001:56A:70BF:CA00:15B6:2380:8F58:53CD (talk) 23:48, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Come to Garfield High School!

[edit]

Tomorrow, Saturday June 10, there will be a huge party/all class reunion at Garfield. This is being called the Bash Before the Smash as the building will be hollowed out like the shell of an undercooked marshmallow very shortly. The lower gym, portables, parking lot and football field are being completely razed. The event starts at 10am and is scheduled to run until 3pm. Live music of all kinds by current and former bulldogs will be going on in the Quincy Jones Auditorium starting at 11am. I hope to see you there. (Sorry for sending this out late and if you are no longer in the Seattle area, I apologize for spamming you.) —WAvegetarian(talk) 23:18, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately I'm far away (in Philadelphia), but I'll be thinking of Garfield. --Krubo 01:37, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In case you aren't in the loop, you can find out about the remodel at http://www.gsdt.net/. I like the color continuation, btw. —WAvegetarian(talk) 02:10, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:20060410-immigrant-rights-phila.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:20060410-immigrant-rights-phila.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 12:25, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:19, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:04, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
