Name change?[edit]
One editor has changed Kartikeya to Murukan. Both refer to Lord Subrahmanya. Well, the former is known all over India while the latter is known only in a particular State of India. I want to edit this page beacuse I want to add the name of Lord Ayyappan here. He is the son of Vishnu and Shiva. He is a popular deity in Kerala. He has a large temple dedicated to him in Kerala, called Sabarimala. He should also be there on this list as he is a big god.

Lord Ayyappan is a Hindu deity with growing importance. He is the son of Shiva and Vishnu. He should be added to this box. 117.196.140.222 (talk) 10:03, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

Vaahana means vehicle and it doesn't come under the category of a class of beings in Hinduism. However, Kinnaras, Yaavanas and such beings should be made into entries. 49.207.189.97 (talk) 07:52, 16 June 2019 (UTC)

Add Sangam Literature in "texts". It is umbrella term refered to most Hindu Tamil literature(esp shaivism) between 2nd century BC to 10th century CE.
