Food and feeding

[edit]

I just made some edits on this section. I'm including a brief summary and reasoning in case anyone is interested or able to confirm a detail:

  • Changed 'ermine' in one instance to stoat, which is more appropriate.
  • Changed 'ermine (Mustela nivalis)' to stoat. Note the species given is a weasel, but 'ermine' refers to stoats. Since both the citations give are books, I can't confirm which was intended. Perhaps someone else can?
  • Removed unnecessary class names e.g. 'bumblebees and wasps (Hymenoptera)' now says simply 'bumblebees and wasps'.
  • Removed the somewhat flowery and inaccurate sentence 'The keen eye of the watchful "sentinel" misses nothing that moves.'

Lanius borealis

[edit]

In the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_shrike article that species is distinguished from this one but apparently part of the same superspecies. This article does not mention L. borealis, but puts the range of L. excubitor into eastern Siberia where L. borealis lives. I think these two articles contradict each other. 2601:441:4102:9010:34B8:8F7D:FF9B:F365 (talk) 14:39, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
