Physical Description

[edit]

The head of the Common American Pugg is disproportionately large, compared to the size of the body. The skull is wide between the eyes, which are large and round. The nose is small with open nostrils. The incisors of the upper jaw protrude over the lower incisors, and the lower jaw is rather broad and strong. The neck is rather short and moderately thick. The body is rather short and stocky with a broad chest and a level topline. The forelegs are set moderately wide apart, and short with a good bone substance. The hind-legs are slightly heavier than the forelegs, but are firm and well shaped. The feet are large, flat, and not round. The hind-feet are slightly turned out. The tail is set high, and carried over the back in a screw.

Temperament

[edit]

As small as the Common American Pugg is, he has all the love to give that larger editors have; but is more compact, and easier to transport. He tends to be sociable and tolerant of other users such as newbies and even trolls. He is a winsome little clown ready at all times to be your jester and is a truly enchanting companion of ancient lineage. He may bark at something that he finds suspicious, however he does not edit randomly.

Diet

[edit]

The Common American Pugg enjoys a consistent diet, with only a little variety. Ramen, diet sodas and Peanut M&Ms(TM) are preferred staples; Molson Canadian and Marlboro Lights may be offered as special treats, but should be given sparingly. Raw vegetables and dairy products should be avoided steadfastly!

Training

[edit]

The Common American Pugg is moderately intelligent and quite capable of both basic obedience training as well as some mildly clever tricks. He responds best when addressed in a calm manner, and may bark or even snap in response to shouting. All praise and scolding should be directed to: User talk:Pugg
