John Charles LeCompt (born March 10, 1973) is an American guitarist. He has played in multiple bands including Machina, Kill System and We Are the Fallen, and was a tour guitarist for the rock band Evanescence from 2003 to 2007.

Career

LeCompt joined the band Kill System in 2002, with drummer Rocky Gray. In 2003, he joined Evanescence as a touring guitarist alongside Gray, playing with the band until 2007.[1] In 2004, he joined the band Mourningside, which also featured Gray. The following year, LeCompt joined singer and guitarist Phil Taylor's band Future Leaders of the World, alongside Gray, guitarist Jack Wiese, and bassist Thad Ables.[2] LeCompt also performed with Gray in the band Soul Embraced.[3] In 2009, LeCompt and Gray joined former Evanescene guitarist Ben Moody's band We Are the Fallen.[4] Lecompt has used the Yamaha CPX900 and LJX6C acoustic guitar models.[5]
