Better?

- I think it is too long to be merged into chess - that article is pretty long now. I think it could be mentioned in chess and linked here. I also think this article needs improvement. Bubba73 (talk), 02:25, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

I think it should be merged with Chess. Even though it is a long article, it is a big topic, and this article fits right in and doesn't have enough information for a whole new topic. Freenaulij 03:26, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose merge - If this is genuinely a unique research topic of it's own, keep it separate. Article needs more work, though, and perhaps a more wikiful name, like Chess in Education, or Chess and cognition, or something.. Perhaps the names of the top research papers on the subject should be evaluated to pick a better article name.. - Eric 07:33, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
A motion on consensus against the merge
[edit]The merge tag (Chess as mental training into Chess) has been on this article since April, I believe. There seems to be little or no support for this merge, either here or there. I propose we remove the merge tag and take up other proposals: improve, rename, delete, etc. Anyone disagree? Hult041956 (talk) 17:24, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Tony Buzan on mental training
[edit]Was expecting to read in this article about Tony Buzan whom I understand recommends chess as a mental training. I hope someone with knowledge of the subject can add info in the future.
