Information on the judges comes from the Directory of the personnel of the Nuremberg Military Tribunals in January 1948 and from a news report on Winfield B. Hale. Lupo 13:38, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)

"High Command"

[edit]

In this article I read:

"The accused in this trial were all high-ranking generals of the German Wehrmacht (one was a former Admiral) and former members of the High Command of Nazi Germany's military forces"

No. Sorry. This is not true. Most of the defendants were not members of the OKW. Therefor the "Name" of this trial "High Command Trial" (OKW-Prozess) is misleading. Everyone should know this, even in Wikipedia. --13Peewit (talk) 10:22, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Sorry. This is true, but badly written. It wasn't meant to say that they all were OKW members. It should probably say "all were high-ranking generals..., and some were also former members...". I'll rephrase accordingly. As for the name being misleading: that's beyond our responsibility; it seems to be the name by which this trial is commonly referred to.
