Welcome

[edit]

Hello, welcome to Wikipedia.

You can help improve the articles listed below! This list updates frequently, so check back here for more tasks to try. (See Wikipedia:Maintenance or the Task Center for further information.)

Help counter systemic bias by creating new articles on important women.

Help improve popular pages, especially those of low quality.

You might find these links helpful in creating new pages or helping with the above tasks: How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should read our policies at some point too.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

  • You can introduce yourself on the new users page.
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.

Again, welcome! Chris Roy 18:04, 11 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Hi. We don't create articles about ourselves. You can edit User:WarrenGaebel, which is your own user page. - Tεxτurε 00:47, 1 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.

Hello, I'm not sure what you're talking about. I'm a Wikipedia administrator, and from the looks of it, you're the one who is new here. I am quite versed with Wikipedia's guidelines and am not trying to get anyone elected with my edits. Also, please follow Wikipedia guidelines and post new comments at the bottom of my talk page. -- Earl Andrew - talk 19:59, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Number

[edit]

Don't post your number again. For one thing nobody is going to call you about editing the page and you are just setting yourself up for problems. I've emailed WP:Oversight to see if the page should be deleted or not. Thanks. Enter CBW, waits for audience applause, not a sausage. 01:23, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
