Image copyrights

[edit]

Hi! Thanks for uploading Image:Ous-chamber.jpg and Image:Ousu.jpg. I notice they currently don't have image copyright tags. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, Edwinstearns 21:23, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Oronhyatekha.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Oronhyatekha.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:51, 24 May 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Papa November (talk) 17:51, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Do not delete other people's talk

[edit]

In a recent edit you deleted some of what I wrote on a talk page. Perhaps it happened accidentally. But you should know that it is considered very bad form to delete what another editor has written on any talk page (unless it is a grave violation of some policy). I'll assume it was inadvertant, but please be careful not to remove from talk pages what other editors have written, again. Slrubenstein | Talk 20:38, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
