Rdsmith has been active since April, doing great work editing articles involving race cars. He's got around 1500 edits atm. He has, as far as I can tell, wholly avoided conflict. Snowspinner 18:10, Sep 25, 2004 (UTC)

I accept. — Dan | Talk 04:54, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
A. I will continue to participate in VfD, patrol RC and revert vandalism. I'll be glad to assist anyone who needs help from an admin.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I have, as Snowspinner mentioned, done a lot of work on Formula One, which I hope will soon be a featured article. I've also written biographies on F1-related people such as Bernie Ecclestone, Max Mosley (not yet attributed from my IP), Eddie Jordan, Frank Williams, and a number of others.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
A. I've engaged in a few mostly friendly POV debates over FOX News, and I think the article has turned out better because of them. I am not be afraid to edit controversial topics, but I will do my best to stay levelheaded and avoid edit warring. I have no major arguments with any user in particular.
